Pedro kept getting the Sox to offer more money, then left once the Mets gave him exactly what he wanted (more than he's worth, IMO). Lowe was inconsistent over his last year-plus in Boston, and he's looked horrid with the Dodgers. Cabrera played exceptional for the three months that he was in Boston but has been average since going to the Angels. Nomar was one unhappy S.O.B. and getting rid of him proved to be a god-send if you recall. I'm not saying that Theo is a god - he's not - but at least get your facts straight.
